What Can Someone Do To Help?

The world is not a perfect place, and oftentimes, many people, animals, places, and communities need help. Government officials and other individuals and entities try to meet everyone's needs, but it's impossible for them to do it all. This is why people become volunteers: because they can make a difference where someone or something needs help. If people never help each other and only care about themselves, the world becomes a crueler, sadder place. But when we volunteer, we help make our planet a better, happier home where people work together to make life easier for all.

Palmetto Place understands the importance of volunteers and the invaluable contributions they make and demonstrates a conscious effort to acknowledge the volunteers (both individuals and groups) that give their time, energy, and talents in helping to make Palmetto Place a better place. We understand that it is through their tireless giving that we are able to exist.
