Amy W. Schofield, MAT - Executive Director director@palmettoplaceshelter.org

Ms. Schofield is responsible for managing and directing all administrative and operational functions of Palmetto Place to include financial, human resources, maintenance, and purchasing activities.

Kenya L. Mingo, MBA - Development Director development@palmettoplaceshelter.org 

Ms. Mingo is responsible for the growth and development of the fundraising activities for Palmetto Place. Her areas of focus include programs, communications, grantwriting, individual & corporate campaigns, and marketing & public relations.

Tedrea Wilson, MA - Program Coordinator programcoord@palmettoplaceshelter.org

Ms. Wilson serves as the liason between the Department of Social Services, the school systems, and other partner agencies in coordinating the intake process for children housed at Palmetto Place. She also coordinates the activities of the children placed in care and provides direct supervision to the child care specialists.

Barbara Wagers, CPA - Accountant

Mrs. Wagers serves as the principal financial manager for Palmetto Place.

Ruby Osterberg - Secretary

Ms. Osterberg serves as the general office manager whose responsibility includes all clerical functions necessary to maintain a sound administration of Palmetto Place.

In addition to these administrative positions, the shelter employs six full-time and 12 part-time child care specialists. These specialists are responsible for the daily physical and emotional caregiving of the child residents at Palmetto Place 24 hours a day.
